Question
Identify the following as rational or irrational number. Give the decimal representation of rational number:
`sqrt(9/27)`
Solution
Given that `(9/27)`
Now we have to check whether it is rational or irrational
`rArrsqrt(9/27)=sqrt9/sqrt27`
`rArrsqrt(9/27)=3/sqrt(3xx3xx3)`
`rArrsqrt(9/27)=3/(3sqrt3)`
`rArrsqrt(9/27)=1/sqrt3`
So it is an irrational number.
