If x – y ≥ 8, x ≥ 3, y ≥ 3, x ≥ 0, y ≥ 0 then find the coordinates of the corner points of the feasible region.

Solution
Consider x – y = 8
If x = 0, y = –8,
∴ A = (0, –8)
If y = 0, x = 8,
∴ B = (8, 0)
Region is non-origin side
x = 3 is line parallel to Y-axis and region is non-origin side.
y = 3 is line parallel to X-axis and region is non-origin side.
Put y = 3 in x – y = 8
∴ x = 11
∴ P = (11, 3)
Corner point is only one i.e. P = (11, 3)
