We have, 2 cosC = sinB cosec A
⇒ 2 sin A cos C = sin B
⇒ sin(A + C) +sin( A - C) = sin B
⇒ sin(π - 8) + sin( A - C) = sinB [∵ A+ B + C = π]
⇒ sin B + sin (A - C) = sin B
⇒ sin (A - C) = O
A = C
∴ ∠A = ∠C
∴ a = c
