2. The ray diagram depicts the operation of a compound microscope. A tiny magnifying object is put in front of the objective lens, slightly beyond its primary focus. The compound microscope's objective lens creates a real, inverted, and enlarged image of the item. This image serves as an object for the eyepiece, which is positioned so that the object is between the optical centre and the eyepiece's focus. The eyepiece creates a final virtual, inverted, and highly magnified image. After setting the final image to a distance of 25 cm from the eye, the final image is seen through an eyepiece.
