3(y + 8) = 10(y − 4) + 8
⇒ 3y + 24 = 10y − 40 + 8
⇒ 3y + 24 = 10y − 32
दोन्ही बाजूंत 32 मिळवू
⇒ 3y + 24 + 32 = 10y - 32 + 32
⇒ 3y + 56 = 10y
दोन्ही बाजूंतून 3y वजा करू
⇒ 3y + 56 − 3y = 10y − 3y
⇒ 56 = 7y
दोन्ही बाजूंना 7 ने भागून
⇒ `(7y)/7 = 56/7`
⇒ y = 8
