`y/7 + (y - 4)/3 = 2`

Solution
`y/7 + (y - 4)/3 = 2`
∴ `(y xx 3)/(7 xx 3) + ((y - 4) xx 7)/(3 xx 7) = 2`
∴ `(3y)/21 + (7y - 28)/21 = 2`
∴ `(3y + 7y - 28)/21 = 2`
∴ `(10y - 28)/21 = 2`
दोन्ही बाजूंना 21 ने गुणून
∴ `(10y - 28)/21 xx 21= 2 × 21`
∴ 10y − 28 = 42
दोन्ही बाजूंत 28 मिळवू
∴ 10y − 28 + 28 = 42 + 28
∴ 10y = 70
∴ `y = 70/10`
∴ y = 7
