Question
M = {x : x is a natural number between 0 and 8) and N = {x : x is a natural number from 5 to 10}. Find: N – M and n (N – M)
Solution
Natural numbers between 0 and 8 M = {0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7}
and Natural numbers between 5 to 10 N = {6, 7, 8, 9, 10}
N – M = {8, 9, 10} and n (N – M) = 3
