Solution
Let Q’s income be 100.
P’s income is 25% more than that of Q.
∴ P’s income = `100 + 25/100 xx 100` = 125
Q’s income is 25 less than that of P
In percentage terms, Q’s income is less than P’s with respect to P’s income is
`("P" - "Q")/"P" xx 100 = (125 - 100)/125 xx 100`
= `25/125 xx 100`
= 20%
