November 26 is celebrated as Constitution Day in India. On this day, the contributions of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and other framers of the Constitution are honored. Our school also celebrated Constitution Day with great enthusiasm and discipline.
Constitution Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in our school. In the morning assembly, the importance of Constitution Day was explained. The principal provided information about the making of the Constitution and highlighted the contribution of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. After this, the entire school collectively read the preamble of the Indian Constitution.
An essay and speech competition related to the Constitution was organized for the students. Many students participated and expressed their thoughts on fundamental rights, duties, and democratic values. Some students also created posters and drawings based on the theme of the Constitution.
Later, a group of students presented a short play depicting the history of the Constitution's formation. The play illustrated how the Indian Constitution was drafted, the key elements included in it, and the roles of the prominent members of the Constituent Assembly.
At the end of the program, the entire school took an oath to uphold constitutional values. This event proved to be an inspiring experience for the students, helping them understand the significance of the Indian Constitution and the democratic system.
