Manisha, a girl in her mid 30’s was suprised to find her father who had just returned from his trip to Badodara,  was unwell. She noticed a tremendous change in the way he interacted that day, to the way he slept (long hours) and an immense dip in his appetite.

She found he was no longer interactives had lost count of time and found him sleeping for (16-20) hours a day. Manisha felt terrible, and helpless as she couldn’t talk about this to anybody. She was becoming more and more helpless and thought of investigating into the matter.

Manisha sat in her room wondering what could be the cause for all the strange changes in her father, when she suddenly decided to open her fathers medicine box and to her surprise she found that her father was prescribed sleeping pills with a very high close, soon she realised that her father had been complaining of ache’s and pains all over his shoulder and joints.

Manisha waited untill her father woke up from his sleep that evening and confronted that the medication needs  to be rechecked by their family physician at the earliest.

When they finally seek the doctor’s advise the doctor informs them that the sleeping pills very harmful and affecting his over all health, more over, her father was prescribed deuratics which was completely unsafe for his kidney’s as he is a CKD stage 4 patient, had he had a few more doses, it would have resulted in his complete  kidney failure. This lead Manisha discovering that God helps those who help themeselves, when she was really nervous about her father’s health.
