Solution
(x - 1 )(x + 6) - (x - 2)(x - 3) = 3
x2 - x + 6x - 6 - (x2 - 3x - 2x + 6) = 3
⇒ x2 + 6x - x - 6 - x2 + 3x + 2x - 6 = 3
10x - 12 = 3
10x = 3 + 12
10x= 15
x = `15/10 = 3/2 = 1 1/2`
