Total marks = 800

Suppose the marks obtained by Shabana be x %. Let us write in two forms, the ratio of the number of marks obtained to the total marks, obtain an equation and solve it.

Then, we have 

`"x"/100 = 736/800`

⇒ `"x"/100 xx 100`

⇒ `736/800 xx 100`

⇒ x = 92

∴ Shabana scored 92% marks in her exams.
