An Indian Farmer

Honorable Principal sir, Vice Principal sir, and My dear teachers and friends, very good morning to all. Today, I am going to express my views on the topic - An Indian farmer.  Our country's population works in agriculture to a degree of about 70%. If the Indian economy is taken into consideration, a farmer can be thought of as the backbone of our country. A farmer in India has a relatively straightforward yet laborious life. He works outside all year long, enduring constantly changing climatic conditions. He really works hard for ploughing the land, sowing the seeds and growing crops. Whatever he produces is necessary for his livelihood to survive.

Farmer's family However, entirely rely on crops for their livelihood. However, the condition of small land holders and marginal farmers is not good at all. They take loans from banks which they cannot repay without working extra hours. But, In the present day and age, the government is taking great care of the farmers. There are several beneficial schemes that not only provide easy loans to the farmers but also give them the raw materials with which they can revamp the farming procedure. An Indian farmer adjusts himself in every situation. A farmer can rightly be called a hero behind the curtain for providing us with food. Thank You!
