Question

State and explain Ampere’s circuital law.

Explain

Solution

According to Ampere's circuit law, the current flowing through the region enclosed by the channel multiplied by the magnetic permeability of that space equals the line integral of the magnetic field r surrounding a closed path.
That is `oint vecB * vecdl = mu_0I`

where I is the current flowing through the region enclosed by the path, B is the magnetic field, and μ0 is the magnetic permeability.
We can explain Ampere's circuit law by stating that it is a generalisation of Biot-Savart's law. It is used to calculate the magnetic field caused by current distribution at any given location.
