- Appointment making powers: The Prime Minister and other ministers are appointed by him based on the PM's proposal. He selects several high-ranking state officials, including governors, ambassadors, Supreme and High court judges, the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, and others. He similarly accepts their resignations.
