State the main difference between asexual and sexual reproduction.

  Asexual reproduction Sexual reproduction
1. It requires only one parent. It requires two parents.
2. In asexual reproduction, newly developed plants are identical to the parent and to each other. In sexual reproduction, newly developed plants are not identical to parents.
3. Special reproductive parts are not required for asexual reproduction. The flower is the reproductive part of a plant, which contains the sexual organs, which are important for sexual reproduction.
4. Examples are yeast, rose, jasmine, potato, etc. Examples are flowering plants, such as Hibiscus, corn, papaya, etc.
5. Occur in Unisexual plants. Occurs in bisexual plants.
6. Reproductive organs are not presents. Fully developed reproductive parts are present.
7. In most of the methods, the original parent disappears. Original parents remain alive after the process of reproduction.
