1. This revolution began in Tunisia in 2010 when a street seller named Mohamed Bouazizi set himself on fire to protest the country's food inflation, corruption, and increasing unemployment. All segments of society participated in a large-scale protest against the administration.

2. The Tunisian revolution spread to Egypt, Libya, Lebanon, and numerous other Middle Eastern countries. The course aimed to overthrow the oppressive governments that plagued the country and negatively impacted society.Because so many ruling regimes were destroyed, the process was a success.
