The cell of a bacteria in every 30 min = 2   ...[∵ 1 + 1 = 2 in 30 min]

So, cell of a bacteria in 1 h = 22  ...[∵ 2 + 2 in 1 h]

Cell of a bacteria in 12 h = 22 × 22 × 22 × 22 × 22 × 22 × 22 × 22 × 22 × 22 × 22 × 22   ...[∵ am × an = am + n]

= 224
