Question
The diagonal of a square is 15 m; find the length of its one side and perimeter.
Solution
Diagonal of square = 15 m
Let side of square = a
a2 + a2 = (15)2 = 225
a2 = `225/2` = 112.50
a = `sqrt(112.50)` = 10.6 m
Perimeter = 4 × a = 10.6 × 4
= 42.42 m
