Question
The heart of a man beats 75 times a minute. What is its (a) frequency and (b) time period?
Solution
Given, heart beats 75 times a minute
(a) Frequency = No. of times heart beats in 1 s
Or, = 75/60 = 1.25 s-1
(b) Time period, T = 1/
Or, T = 1 / 1.25 = 0.8 s
