Today, I am going to express my views on the topic 'Social media' - Is it good or bad for teenagers? Many think that social media is a blessing. It is true that the internet has made our life easy and simple. Social media is an integral part of everyone’s life today, especially the youth of today. It impacts them both positively and negatively. The youth today lives in an extremely busy world of school, homework, and sport. There is sometimes hardly any time for anything else. Social sites give everyone a chance to communicate effectively and quickly for many different reasons. People can talk to many friends at the same time.
On the other hand, social media can have a negative impact on youth as well. Social media can be used for bullying and victimizing. People might publish humiliating images and videos, send unsettling messages and emails, and propagate rumors. Bullying online is a major problem that must be addressed. A person can succeed or fail on social networking. False Facebook profiles are made to defraud individuals by posing as businesses and taking money from them illegally.
As a result, all of my dear friends, our most important time may be squandered on these sites, and our grades at school may suffer as a result. So let us make use of the existing chances and use these social networking platforms while they are still available. Let us not become hooked to it and allow it to disrupt our lives to the point that our future is jeopardized.
