Given, L1 = 1 m, R1 = 6 Ω, L2 = 70 cm = 0.7 m, R2 = ?

R = `rho "L"/"A"`

`therefore "R"_1 = rho "L"_1/"A" and "R"_2 = rho "L"_2/"A"`

`therefore "R"_2/"R"_1 = "L"_2/"L"_1 = 0.7/1` = 0.7

`therefore "R"_2 = 0.7, "R"_1 = 0.7 xx 6.2 = 4.2  Omega`
