- The angles are labelled wrongly in diagram (a). The angle of reflection is labelled as angle of incidence and vice versa.
- In diagram (b), the law of reflection is not followed as angle of reflection and angle of incidence are not equal in measure.

The normal drawn is not perpendicular to the surface in diagram (c).
