Use the adjacent figure, to find angle x and its supplement.
Solution
In the given fig.
x + 2x + 3x + 4x = 180° ......(Straight angle)
⇒ 10x = 180°
⇒ x = `(180°)/10` = 18°
∴ x = 18°
Its supplymentary angle = 180°− 18° = 162°
