What are SC and ST Rights?

1. In order to ensure the dignity and security of Adi Dravidars (mostly referred to as Scheduled Castes in other States) their rights are ensured.
2. They remove all forms of exclusion, marginalization, untouchability, and discrimination
3. The Government formulates policies, plans, budgets, schemes, and programs.
4. This is done to ensure their right to social equity, access to entitlements, and right to dignity.
5. These rights facilitate the betterment of their socio-economic conditions as well as confer democratic and political rights.
