2. Whooping Cough:

1. Whooping cough is caused by Bordetella pertussis.
2. It also affects the respiratory tract and causes mild fever, severe cough ending in a whoop.

3. Tuberculosis:

1. Tuberculosis is caused by the bacteria, Microbacterium tuberculosis.
2. When we breathe, the bacteria present in the air get into the lungs and affect them.
3. An infected person has to be treated with anti-tubercular drugs for a period of 6 months to one year.
