If the ball crosses the goal line after a forward (attacking) player touches it, the decision depends on whether it enters the goal:

Ball enters goal after crossing goal line: The attacking team scores if the ball is played in the shooting circle without fouls.
- If the ball crosses the goal line but goes over the backline: If the ball disappears over the backline and was last touched by a forward, the defence gets a free hit from the 16-yard line.
