What efforts are made by our government to promote agricultural industries?

1. In rural areas, loans are given to farmers by banks and cooperative institutions. Agricultural outdoor trips and farmer's get-togethers are organised through the Panchayat Samitis to bring about improvements in agriculture.
2. Tools and implements, seeds and fertilisers are also supplied at reasonable prices. Farmers are also given training regarding soil testing, dairy farming, fish farming, poultry, cattle rearing etc.
3. Guidance is also provided by district business guidance institutions. The government provides financial assistance to build warehouses for storing the produced goods.
4. The government helps the farmers in matters like crop insurance protection, purchase of produced goods etc.
