Question
What is a rejector circuit?
Short Note
Solution
- When alternating currents of different frequencies are delivered via a parallel resonant circuit, the current of the resonant frequency has an extremely high impedance. This is known as a rejector circuit.
- In other words, it rejects the resonant frequency current while allowing the other frequencies to pass through. As a result, a parallel resonant circuit is also known as a rejector circuit.
