What is data abstraction? Explain with an example.

1. It is an act of representing essential features of a class without undergoing background details. 
2. For example, while driving a car, you are only aware of its important parts (using essential features) viz. clutch, brake, gears and accelerator. By applying brakes, you can stop the car and thus you need not require to know the internal mechanism of the brake of car.
