Question

What were the barriers? How could they be swept away?

Answer in Brief

Solution

When the writer recognized that every object had a name, each name inspired a new thought. Every object she touched appeared to shiver with life, as everything was odd and unfamiliar to her. Every living word could provide her with fresh experiences, yet some could not. She was able to identify each living object by touching it. She couldn't do it with invisible things.
