Solution
All of the above
Explanation -
Consumers have six rights under the Consumer Protection Act. A consumer's rights are outlined here.
- Right to Safety: Every customer has a right to be protected from goods and services that endanger their lives, health, or property. Manufacturing flaws in electrical equipment and cooking gas cylinders, for example, can be dangerous. A consumer's right to be protected from such products exists.
- Right to be Informed: The consumer has the right to be informed about the goods and services' quality, quantity, price, ingredients, weight, and so on. In India, it is lawful for manufacturers to include all relevant information on the package and label of their products. This allows the customer to make an informed decision.
- Right to Choose: A consumer has the right to choose from a variety of goods and services at competitive prices as per his wishes. That is, the consumer has the right to have access to a variety of products at fair and competitive price. Thus, the retailer or the supplier should offer a variety of products in terms of quality, brand, price, etc. They should not induce the consumers towards the purchase of a particular product or service.
