Solution

First-class vertebrates adapted for terrestrial life and lay their eggs with tough outer Shell e.g Calotes, Lizard, Snake, Tortoise, and Turtle. Hence the eggs are covered with shells to protect them. Whereas amphibian eggs are laid in water.
