Why are the human testes located outside the abdominal cavity? Name the pouch in which they are present.
Solution
The testicles, produce sperm and testosterone. The testicles are located outside the body because the sperms develop best at a temperature, several degrees lower than normal body temperature. The pouch, is a scrotum, a sac-like structure, in which the testes are present.
