The forests are rich sources of plants and animals. The forests should be conserved to preserve the biodiversity of these species and to maintain a stable ecological community. Deforestation can lead to loss of biodiversity. Deforestation is carried out for two reasons:
- For the availability of the raw materials like wood.
- For the construction of the buildings and shelters.
