2. Alternating current travels through the primary coil, magnetising the core once in one direction and once in the other way.
3. Hence, an alternating magnetic flux is produced in the core.
4. The magnetic flux flowing through the secondary coil, which is likewise wound on the same core, fluctuates constantly as a result of the core's frequent magnetisation and demagnetisation.
5. Therefore, by mutual induction, an alternating electromotive force of identical frequency is induced in the secondary coil.
