Celebrating Earth Day

Our school celebrated Earth Day through a series of activities on 22nd April. The assembly held a half an hour session on steps that every student can take on an individual level. It included basic habits like switching off electrical appliances when not in need to creative actions like reuse of old clothes, recycling of paper etc. The best part of the day was the Eco-competition where the 2 students from each class were to bring anything made out of reused materials. Students made amazing and creative products like wall hangings, cards, pen stands, bags, paper boxes and even beautiful dresses. The day was marked not only by awareness but also enthusiasm on the part of the students.
