  2. India is a secular country, and one of our fundamental rights is the right to freedom of religion.
  3. Accordingly, each Indian citizen has the freedom to practice any religion.
  4. In order to broaden the scope of the right to freedom of religion, the Constitution prevents the imposition of religious taxes.
