Since, 9.315315... = 9.315
Let x = 9.315 ...(1)
Multiplying both sides by 1000, we get
1000x = 9315.315 ...(2)
By subtracting (1) from (2), we get
1000x − x = 9315.315 − 9.315
⇒ 999 x = 9306
⇒ `x = 9306/999`
⇒ `x = (9 xx 1034)/(9 xx 111)`
∴ 9.315 = `1034/111`
