Question

You have learnt about adaptation in living things in your science textbooks. Find the biological reasons why man’s ears and mouth have developed the way they are now?

Short Answer

Solution

Ears are sense organs that interpret sounds. Two ears will function better by capturing sounds from everywhere. Mouth is basically for feeding in all animals. It should be a single one. It then leads to a food pipe to carry swallowed food inside the body. With a single mouth, feeding is easier. However, ears should be two to gather all sound signals.
