Walking on this wet floor will be difficult if a bucket of soapy water accidentally spills on the marble floor. Smooth surfaces have various types of irregularities. The irregularities of two surfaces form a couple, so when we try to move from one surface to another, we have to apply very little force. Since the friction force is less, the chances of slipping are quite high.
