The College conducts course of KAMIL-E-TIB-O-JARAHAT (Bachelor o f Unani Medicine and Surgery) B.U.M.S. according to the curriculum and syllabus as prescribed by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, (CCIM) New Delhi.
It was established in 2009 with the aim of popularizing the education and science of Indian System of Medicine. The College is recognized by the CCIM, New Delhi, Central Government & Government of Maharashtra and affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik .
THE AIMS OF YUNUS FAZLANI UNANI MEDICAL COLLEGE ARE TO :
- Educate and qualify competent Unani Physicians with extensive knowledge of fundamental theories and basic principles of Unani System of Medicine.
- acquire expertise in Western medical applications in Physiology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Social and Preventive medicine, Forensic Medicine and Surgery too.
- Competently address all kinds of medical and surgical cases.
Al-Fazlani Unani Hospital is attached to Yunus Fazlani. Unani Medical College to provide practicals and demonstrations to train the students in outpatient as well as indoor-patient care in various departments. The hospital meets the 100 beds in inpatient Dept. Required as per norms of Central Council of Indian Medicine [CCIM] New Delhi, and Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
