Augmented Reality (AR)

Augmented reality (AR) enhances real-world environments with computer-generated perceptual information, including visuals, auditories, and haptics. AR combines real and virtual worlds, enables real-time interaction, and ensures accurate 3D registration of virtual and real objects, creating an interactive and immersive experience.

AR enabled Eyeglasses

AR displays can be rendered on devices resembling eyeglasses. Versions include eyewear that employs cameras to intercept the real-world view.

Applications

In educational settings, AR has been used to complement a standard curriculum. AR applied in Visual art can provide with a viewer an enriching and a multidimensional perspective of the art piece. AR allows industrial designers to experience a product's design and operation before completion.
