Introduction to Visual Basic

Invented in 1971, BASIC became popular as a beginner's language. Visual Basic, a 32-bit version, is an IDE for developing, running, testing, and debugging applications. It supports GUI development and is event-driven, executing code in response to user actions like button presses or menu selections. 

Features of Visual Basic

  2. Number of icons and pictures for your use. 
  3. Response to mouse and keyboard actions. 
  4. Clipboard and printers access. 
  5. Full set of mathematical functions, string handling functions and graphical functions.
