प्रश्न
A fruit-seller buys oranges at 4 for Rs.3 and sells them at 3 for Rs.4 Find his profit percent.
उत्तर
Let number of oranges bought = 12
[Note: L.C.M. of 4 and 3 = 12]
∴ C.P. of oranges = Rs.`3/4xx12` = Rs. 9
and S.P. of oranges = Rs.`4/3xx12`
= Rs. 16
∴ Profit = 16 − 9
= Rs. 7
Profit %`="Profit"/"C.P."xx100`
`=7/9xx100=700/9%`
`=77 7/9%`
