प्रश्न

A milk tank is in the form of a cylinder whose radius is 1.5 m and length is 7 m. Find the quantity of milk in litres that can be stored in the tank?

योग

उत्तर

Radius of cylinder = 1.5 m

Length of cylinder = 7 m

Volume of cylinder = πr2h

= `(22/7 xx 1.5 xx 1.5 xx 7)m^3`

= 49.5 m3

1m3 = 1000 L

Required quantity = (49.5 × 1000) L

= 49500 L

Therefore, 49500 L of milk can be stored in the tank.
