प्रश्न

A truck of mass M is moved under a force F. If the truck is then loaded with an object equal to the mass of the truck and the driving force is halved, then how does the acceleration change?

संक्षेप में उत्तर

उत्तर

Initially, acceleration of the truck = `("Driving force")/("Mass") = "F"/"M"`

Finally acceleration of the truck

= `("F"//2)/2"M" = 1/4. "F"/"M"`

∴ The acceleration of the truck becomes

`(1/4)^"th"` of its initial value.
