Answer the following question.

Distinguish between contact and non-contact forces

अंतर स्पष्ट करें

उत्तर

  Contact forces Non-contact forces
1. The forces experienced by a body due to physical contact are called contact forces. The forces experienced by a body without any physical contact are called non-contact forces.
2. Examples: Frictional force, force exerted due to collision, normal reaction etc.

Examples: Gravitational force, electrostatic force, magnetostatic force etc.
