This answer is for a personal experience - The student needs to answer his/her experience. Below is an example.
When we ride a bicycle, we experience different types of motion.
The wheels of the bicycle keep on rotating, this means that they show rotatory motion.
At the same time, the bicycle moves in forward direction. This means that the wheels of the bicycle execute translatory motion simultaneously.
The wheels of the bicycle gain both these motions due to the force executed by the rider on the pedals of the bicycle.
Uniform or non-uniform linear motion and uniform or non-uniform circular motion can be experienced while riding a bicycle.
- Uniform or non-uniform linear motion, when bicycle moves in a straight line.
