When we ride a bicycle, we experience different types of motion.
The wheels of the bicycle keep on rotating, this means that they show rotatory motion.
At the same time, the bicycle moves in forward direction. This means that the wheels of the bicycle execute translatory motion simultaneously.
The wheels of the bicycle gain both these motions due to the force executed by the rider on the pedals of the bicycle.
